Step seven: Interior Spaces

For most Feng Shui, interior spaces are essential as this is where sacred private space is delineated from outer secular public space. The key to Feng Shui is to create harmony, peace, kindness, sweetness, beauty, joy, stillness, sanctuary and creativity in your inner world. There is an art and a science to this that has evolved over millennia. As a Socio-Cultural Anthropologist teaching at the University of Toronto, I used to teach classes on sacred – secular space, and how to create this through Rites of Passage and interior design and decoration. There are hundreds of necessary details used in Feng Shui Remedies that cover the front door, entranceway, entire house and room by room, including basement, attic, storage, garage and cupboards. A thorough Feng Shui Diagnosis will concern itself with all these aspects.
